We’ve added a few beers to our list that we’re quite excited about. First, on draft, Red Seal Ale by North Coast Brewing Company of California, a pioneer in the craft brewing movement. Red Seal Ale strikes a beautiful balance between malt and hops, boasts a coppery color, and has a long, spicy finish. A very satisfying end-of-summer beer.

In bottles, we recently added a large format Saison from Mystic Brewery which we’re crazy about. Inspired by the great tradition of Belgian farmhouse ales, this Saison is light-colored, effervescent, and strongly aromatic, with a clean, bright finish. We’re hoping to feature another beer by Mystic on draft this fall.

From Spain, we just added an unusual beer from Cervezas Guineu called Riner Pale Ale. This is a low-alcohol brew that is hoppy, with grapefruit on the nose and palate and wonderful herbal and spice notes. Definitely worth a try, especially for IPA lovers looking for something off the beaten path.
